The Idea
With over 60 years of experience in the fashion industry and first-hand insights to the needs of the active woman’s lifestyle, we set out to create innovative activewear that would help women look, feel, and perform at their best.
We saw health-conscious NYC women using CBD in everything from skincare to tinctures and even edibles, and we had the thought: “What if recovery could start from the moment you get dressed?”

We saw health-conscious NYC women using CBD in everything from skincare to tinctures and even edibles, and we had the thought: “What if recovery could start from the moment you get dressed?”
The Journey
With that idea, we embarked on a journey to source the best raw materials including luxe high-performance fabrics and pure crystalline CBD isolate. We were as relentless in our search as we are in our pursuit of proactive living – visiting factories and growers, researching textile technology and designing garments that could be worn from day to night, and barre to bar.

A collection that’s designed in NYC and sustainably made in Portugal from luxury fabric with the highest quality organic CBD to help bring your body back to balance, preparing you for whatever life throws at you.
We named our brand Acabada – which not only incorporates three of our favorite letters (CBD), but also means ‘finished’ in Portuguese, a nod to where our ProActiveWear is made, and the high-tech textile finish that allows each piece to be infused with CBD.
